This is ribbon embroidery. My passion is anything I create. The first one I made & the second one Bessie, my daughter made.
I embroidered NOEL on the end of the table runner for my Aunt for Christmas....it belonged to her mother.

Larry's Grandma Ader made kittens like these for my oldest daughter. Well, I made some too.
I have knitted a lot of scarfs. The scarf that has the round circles is made with a knit wit.
I am a weaver. I took pictures though the process to show you how I weave.
I wound the warp on a warping board, you will notice the "cross" , Took it off, Put it on my hand saving the cross, Threaded the reed, Threaded the heddles. I have some of the things I have wove. Towels... More pictures of cloth I wove.

I have knitted more socks than I can count. More scarves. I spun the fiber on the right, then knitted the scarf.
I sewed pillow cases for my nieces. Pot holders is the next photo. An apron from our child hood family friend...I copied & made. I really enjoyed making a new Christmas stocking for my husband. Trying to make it look just like his old worn out boot, I even made a broken heal.
Next are some quilts I started on years ago. Time to finish projects! The payoff is getting to make new quilts....
The first quilt I started at Ft. Lewis. I made that with other Army wives. It was endearing to work on, remembering all the people I worked together with on this quilt.
The Brocade quilt I started in 1989. My Gramma helped me cut out those pieces. I finished that this winter & gave it to my husband as the brocade fabric came from his Great Grandma.
The next is a jean quilt I started on in 1994. I have it ready to buy the border & backing...as now I know what I want. I want to use this quilt as a picnic blanket to have a picnic on.
The next quilt I tore it all apart as the fabric rotted. I restitched it with deep purple. That quilt I made for my oldest daughter. The next quilt I made for my niece. My Mom & twin sister colored the blocks. I sewed the top together. My twin sister & my niece...mostly my niece sewed her own quilt together!
The next quilt I am working on is a 9 patch quilt. It is made out of 1930 retro fabric. I am making this just like my Great Grandma Wells quilt that is on my bed.
